Meet Our Providers
Michael Thorarinson, DNP, RN, FNP-BC received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and his Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He received his Doctorate in Nursing Practice at Gardner-Webb University.
“Dr Mike” is a Board Certified by the ANCC as a Family Nurse Practitioner. He is accepting new patients and provides several minor invasive procedures in the South Winston office, including, but not necessarily limited to cryotherapy, removal of unwanted skin lesions, and basic steroid joint injections. He is hopeful to expand these services to our clinic here in Winston-Salem
He is extremely passionate about the education of new primary care providers and gives a considerable amount of clinical time to this cause.
Emily Adkins Johnson MSN-FNP is a certified nurse practitioner whose nursing background includes 5 years of emergency (including one year of focus in psychiatric emergency nursing) and urgent care nursing and one year of post-partum nursing. No patient problem is too complicated, she loves diagnostic challenges and solving clinical puzzles. She is a firm believer in a patient’s right and responsibility to be an active participant in their care and therefore welcomes patient questions, perspectives, and ideas. A Christian and a scientist, she strives to take care of each person’s body, mind, and soul.
